Having lived in Brazil for over 30 years, João was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. With extensive experience in the financial market, he has acquired a vast global network.
His career includes executive positions at major companies in Brazil and Latin America. He was responsible for Project Finance in Brazil between 1996 and 2005 with a Portuguese Investment Bank, Banco Efisa/S.G. Warburg.
With over 20 years of experience in the capital markets, including 15 years directly in Brazil, his expertise has spanned multiple facets of the financial market, from commercial banking, M&A, structured finance, corporate finance, distressed assets, and consulting. João is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal, from where he manages his office focused on Latin America.
